Click Here To View the Photos in FULL SCREEN. Rebecca and Zach are my friends. Rebecca (my adopted sister and a friend by marriage) is part of the double-triple secret self described TGOL (pronounced “TOE-GUL”) for a group of friends that reductively call themselves “Tiny Group of Love” – they are: Rebecca, Lisa, Nelli, and Jennifer (the latter being my wife!). These girls adore each other and will do just about anything to love on each other. But they also talk a lot (LOL).
All but one – Rebecca – is married. Annapolis Wedding Photographer.
Then one day, a charming prince came along. He was handsome, intelligent, and considered to be one of Glen Burnie’s most eligible bachelors (okay, that was over the top Zach, right? Hehe). And so, this prince, riding along in his United States-issued relation(war)ship, found and rescued this damsel in distress. Her name? You guessed it! The one and only Rebecca. I call her Beckster.
And now, along with Renae, and Zeph, and two golden retrievers, they are getting married in July to start a new life together. I can’t wait to see them launch on a new journey! #zachlovesthemtoreesespieces
Please enjoy these photos I was priviledged to capture of them during their sweet engagement photo session in Downtown Annapolis.
And they all lived happily ever after even though #thisweddingisonabudget…. 🙂

“Our story is nothing short of a whirlwind of faith, hope, and prayer. It truly is only something God could’ve ordained. She’s an educator from Illinois and he’s a sailor from California currently serving in the U.S. Navy. Coupled with our absolute love and faith in God, it is through His perfect plan and reckless love for us that we were brought together in the perfect timing of our lives.
For years Rebecca has felt called to be a wife and a mother. Zachary has only ever known he is to be a husband and a father. While Rebecca patiently waited, surrounding herself with those who would love her and encourage her in praying for her desires, Zachary had a chance to live his calling as a husband. But unfortunately that chapter in time came to a close. Fast forward in time and we saw God being faithful yet again, like so many times before, showing us how He can turn any circumstance into a blessing. Rebecca is not only gaining a husband that she has prayed for, but also two incredible children! Renae and Zephaniah are two amazing blessings God brought into her life in answering her prayer that He would build her family.
Our church that we love so much would become the setting where we eventually met. So many people that love each of us saw the trials and struggles we each faced and continued to encourage us. Several mutual acquaintances suggested we meet one another and in October of 2017 we finally did. Rebecca took a leap of faith and reached out to Zachary of which a friendship quickly grew. They really began to grow closer when Zachary began attending a small group that Rebecca led. It was a Dave Ramsey class so yes… #thisweddingisonabudget
Together we’ve seen nothing but God’s perfect handiwork woven through our relationship which has allowed us to grow closer in our walk with the Lord. It truly has strengthened our faith. We desire nothing more than to seek God and share that love with others.
From the very moment we began dating we have felt an absolute certainty within us that each of us is the person we’ve been praying and waiting for. We lift one another up and truly want to encourage others by shining a light from our hearts which are filled to the brim with peace and joy. The best is yet to come.
We want to thank everyone who has had a hand in encouraging, praying, and loving us mightily through this time. We simply cannot wait to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter with each of you! #reeslightning”
