Of the many, many questions I’ve been asked about wedding photography (see my FAQ list here), there is one main question you should ask me:

I’m glad you asked!
Since other photographers will be quick to tell you to hire them effectively telling you “pick me, pick me, pick me!”, there are 3 things that make me stand out – to YOUR ADVANTAGE! Here they are:
1. I am a full time professional wedding photographer – That’s a loaded phrase. Let’s break it up. I’ve been doing wedding photography for 10 years. Not just photography, but wedding photography. There is a huge difference in terms of planning, execution, and work flow that make wedding photography fairly complicated with no room for errors, and it is not for the faint of heart. Equally important, I work full time as a wedding photographer. That means you have my undivided attention between the time we meet all the way through your wedding date. You have questions or you’re looking for advice, call, text, or email me, and I will respond to you very quickly. I am brutally very responsive. Many other wedding photographers are “weekend warriors”. They have 9 to 5 jobs or are stay at home parents, etc., and will only be able to get to you when the can. After your wedding, I am as responsive by delivering sneak peek photos and the rest of all your photos in lighting speed. Other photographers will take 1 to 3 months (more sometimes!) to edit your photos! How can I edit so quickly without quality suffering? Because I work full time on your photos and albums!

2. I provide a Venue Walk Through – I will join you for a visit to your venue(s) to sit down and talk logistics (who, what, where, when, how, and why) about 1 month before your wedding so that we leave nothing to chance. I write all of it down. We also walk inside and outside your venue(s) to come up with ideas and locations for photos – including First Look location, creative photography, etc. Most other photographers do NOT provide this service. 3. I have a very mature process work flow – What is a work flow? It is the methodical, step by step actions I take between the time we meet and the time you get your photos (and albums if you order them). I don’t just “wing it”, shoot lots of pictures, cross my fingers and hope something nice turns out! Over the many years and hundreds of weddings I’ve shot, I have learned and created a reliable, repeatable, and virtually fool-proof process that give you and I greater assurance that everything is well studies, discussed, and rehearsed. Nothing will be missed or forgotten. Most importantly, I share this process work flow with you, not only to educate you about what I will be doing over the course of the many months (often 1+ year) and what you will be getting for your investment, but to also enable you to hold me accountable! Most photographers either don’t have a work flow, do have one but its immature, or have a mature work flow but are unwilling to share it becayse they know you will hold them accountable.
