Unique. Intimate. Fun.
Those three words come to mind when I think of Chelsea and Chris and their wedding this past weekend at Woodberry Kitchen‘s very own vintage artisan coffee studio – Artifact Coffee (all near Druid Hill Park, Hamden, and Woodbury). Having spent time with Chelsea and Chris during their engagement photo session at Jerusalem Mill last Fall made our time together that much more delightful and organic. It is this very reason that I encourage my clients to consider hiring me to do their engagement photos as a “trial run” – a way for them to get to know me, how I am serious and goofy all at once, my style, how I help them post, etc. And it is a way for me to get to know them, what they like and don’t like, what their comfort zones are, and so forth.
On this breathtaking Spring day, we planned the first look at Union Mill in Baltimore – a historic district that’s been re-purposed into beautiful restaurants, condominiums, businesses, along with an art district. Great texture which served as a beautiful backdrop to many of their photos. I made them walk down to the railroad tracks and walk along the tracks for some fun shots. We then went to Artifact Coffee, where a team of culinary experts from the famed Woodberry Kitchen served up a beautiful reception and dinner for Chelsea and Chris’ family and guests.
And what would a wedding be without a sparkler exit? Check. We did that too!
Please join me in congratulating Chelsea and Chris on their wedding as you enjoy these “sneak peek” shots.
